3 ways to celebrate National Book Lovers Day

August 9th is National Book Lovers Day! How will you celebrate? Here are some ideas:

  1. Check out a new book from the library. Many local libraries review and recommend books on their websites and blogs. If e-books are more your style, many libraries now offer access to different online book catalogs. If you search for “online library” in your area, you’ll sure to find some great free resources.

  2. Busy? Listen to a book while you’re making dinner, exercising or driving. We really like Audible for on-the-go listening. Audible is the world’s largest producer and provider of spoken-word entertainment and audio books and have pretty much every book you can think of!

  3. Be inspired. If you’re an Autism parent, caregiver or educator, why not check out some of our personal favorites, guaranteed to inspire and give an insider's perspective. Here are our top picks: Dr. Stephen Shore’s Beyond The Wall and Autism for Dummies, The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida, and Dr. Lucy Jane Miller’s Sensational Kids.

Happy National Book Lovers Day!
